纽卡斯尔大学（Newcastle University），也译作新堡大学或纽卡索尔大学，是一所位于英格兰东北部泰恩河畔纽卡斯尔的一流研究型大学。该校创建于1834年，创建之初名为‘医学与外科学院’（School of Medicine and Surgery），随后成为分裂改制前的杜伦大学的另一半部的学院，在1963年根据国会法案（Act of Parliament）与杜伦大学分别成立各自独立的学校，正式全名为‘泰恩河畔纽卡斯尔大学’（University of Newcastle upon Tyne）。
1）翻译专业面试通知
纽大翻译专业春季面试申请的截止日期是2月14日，预约面试的前提是学生需获得录取offer，并且达到雅思总分7.0（各单项6.5）。请建议有相关面试需求但还未递交申请的学生尽快递交申请，今年纽大处理申请的周期比较长。面试地点为北京或上海，学生可根据自身需要进行选择。
2）部分课程关闭申请通知
由于今年收到大量来自中国优秀学生的申请，为提高国际学生国籍多元化，学校将于英国时间2020年1月20日23：59之后关闭以下来自中国大陆毕业学生的申请（以下专业仍可接受毕业于中国大陆以外的中国籍学生申请）。
